Krushi B. Suresh

Krushi “Bhaswith” Suresh is from Falls Church, Virginia and a biology major and chemistry minor at Howard University. Honored to be a Presidential scholar and a BS-MD scholar, he enjoys his research in exploring extracellular vesicles and microRNAs.

In his free time, Krushi enjoys volunteering for his old debate league and various organizations in D.C. like OneTent Health to prevent the spread of HIV and other communicable diseases. From powerlifting to running and kayaking in the summer, Krushi enjoys the activity as a balance to the rigorous curriculum demanded by the BS/MD program. He also enjoys playing golf in warm weather to relax and connect with nature. A fluent Spanish speaker, Krushi frequently uses his fluency at volunteering events and is always trying to add new languages to his repertoire.

In the future, Krushi hopes to lead efforts related to public policy and drug regulation from the perspective of a clinician.
