Proud Mentor Moment - Sydney and Brianna graduated in May 2026!

🎓✨ Proud Mentor Moment! ✨🎓
This past May, two of my incredibly talented undergraduate students graduated from Howard University, and my heart is absolutely bursting with pride.

Please join me in celebrating Sydney M. Stewart and Brianna Harris! 🥳🌟

💪These two phenomenal women are absolute powerhouses: strong-willed, resilient, and the ultimate team players. When I was establishing my lab, they were right there beside me, helping to build it from the ground up and keeping our daily operations running smoothly. 🎓Both worked as Dow-SURE undergraduate research scholars in my lab. I truly could not have done it without them. ❤️

While my heart is full watching them grow and spread their wings, I am going to miss our day-to-day conversations more than words can say. 🤗😮‍💨

They are heading off to do incredible things:
Sydney M. Stewart is heading to the University of Virginia to pursue her PhD! 🧬
Brianna Harris is joining the PhD program at Northwestern University! 🔬

To upward and onwards, ladies! The sky is truly the limit for you all. Thank you for leaving such a lasting mark on our lab. I know you will change the world! 🌌🚀
