International Society for Extracellular VesiclesAnnual Meeting (ISEV 2026)

Sep 14, 2026

💥Still buzzing from an incredible week at ISEV 2026! 🔬✨

There was something so special about the International Society for Extracellular VesiclesAnnual Meeting (ISEV 2026) this year, it felt truly personal. 💕

🥰 One of the absolute highlights was finally meeting Prof. Katie Whiteheadand Prof. Mei Hein person! It is one thing to follow someone’s brilliant research updates and engage behind a screen, but connecting in-person was just magic. There is such an incredible, supportive energy when women in science come together to lift each other up. 👭✨ 🪄

👨‍🏫👩‍🏫Beyond presenting my research on "Biopotency and surrogate assays to validate the immunomodulatory potency of extracellular vesicles derived from mesenchymal stem/stromal cells for the treatment of experimental autoimmune uveitis," my heart is full after some long-awaited reunions. For the first time in over three years, I was able to reconnect with my postdoctoral mentor Ryang-Hwa Lee in-person. It was exciting to meet Dr. Ash K. Shetty, and the IRM team members from Texas A&M University at ISEV2026! It was such a powerful reminder of where my journey started and how much those mentorships and friendships mean to me. 🧬❤️ 💪

The highlights didn’t stop there:
✅I had the absolute best time connecting with fellow IITK alumni. No matter where we are in the world, that shared bond is instant and so energizing! 🎓
✅From connecting with brilliant mentors, to deep-dive scientific discussions to exploring new potential collaborations, the networking was next-level. Thanks for connecting Pascale V Guillot, Sharanjot Saini, Mona Batish, Navneet Dogra, Naveed Akbar, Anoop Pal, Ph.D.🤝
✅I was genuinely blown away by the quality of presentations. Seeing the passion and innovation from these emerging scientists makes me so excited for the future of the field. 🌟

Thank you, ISEV Admin, for being such a vibrant platform for learning, sharing, and most importantly reconnection! I’m back at my lab Howard University with a renewed spirit and a lot of gratitude!
